Direct session 5, Step 1: Output file auto-refresh timer and in-place stat updates

Issues implemented:
- Auto-refresh timer while Project tab is active
- Track file count per project until switching
- Recount on re-display of project tab or outputs sub-tab
- In-place stat box update without full panel re-render
- Refresh stats button in footer button bar
